The game of love and chance

The works propose to show the card (whose essence is manipulable) in a ludic context although not in its own rules of the game.
Through the appropriation process, a new situational order is created with the card-object.

The cards for table and oracle games are placed in different settings: landscape, architecture or surrounded by various objects, linking the divinatory or gambling meaning with a recognizable reality.

Both groups of cards transfigure their identity by adopting new functions: women’s fashion, museum book, language game, photographic prints or themed mobiles.

The object is never intervened but is valued through the environment that reinforces its autonomous meaning.

Metaphors are embodied through various visual languages: photographs, objects, and installations.
